How To Submit:

Step 1:

You can submit following the below instructions starting from Step 2. You will need to choose which option to use when you come to submit to a category: ‘Add URL’ or ‘Add Premium URL’. Below are descriptions of both:

Add URL:

This will lead to requesting your site to be included in the GBGuide.com regularly listings within a specific category (subject to terms). The process of inclusion can take up to 6 weeks.

Add Premium URL

This choice will get your site reviewed within 36 hours of submission (subject to terms) and will place your site in a box that makes it stand out from the regular listings and also place your site top of the category above the regular listings. This is a fee paid submission.

Step 2:

Search or drill down to the relevant category best suited for your site (please do not submit to Top Level categories). Your site has a better chance for inclusion by submitting to the most relevant category.

Example:

If you run an ‘Antiques Shop’ that mainly sells vintage watches and clocks then you would submit your site to:

GB Guide.com >> Arts & Crafts > Antiques > Collectables > Clocks and Watches

And not to:

GB Guide.com >> Arts & Crafts > Antiques

Step 3:

Once you have drilled down to the best category that most suits your website business/service simply click on the links located on the top menu bar ‘Add URL’ or ‘Add Premium URL’

Step 4:

You will then be asked to register an account or log in to an existing one. The reason you need to register an account first is so we avoid being SPAMMED only. Once you have created the account an activation e-mail will be sent to you (check your junk mail) asking you to click on the link provided. Once activated you may then carry on with the submission process our systems will automatically remember the category you originally chose for your submission. (Depending on which submission option you have chosen you may be required to make payment during this transaction. If you make a payment you will be automatically brought back to GBGuide.com)

Step 5:

Once you have made your submission request an editor at GBGuide.com will review your submission and you will receive an e-mail notification whether it has been successful or not. The speed of review depends upon which submission process you have chosen.

Minimum Requirements For The Website You Are Submitting:

All web sites submitted to GBGuide.com online search engine and directory MUST meet the following minimum criteria:

• Your site and company must be based in the UK;
• The site must be up and running 24/7;
• The site must not already appear in the GBGuide.com directory;
• The site must contain unique content, as determined by a GBGuide.com editor;
• The site must not contain any parts under construction;
• The site is not mainly a WEBLOG or "BLOG"
• The site must clearly define its purpose, products, and/or services;
• All links on the site must work;
• The site must be in the English language (or have an English version available);
• The site must support multiple browsers and capabilities;
• The site must not contain any content, products, services or other information that may be illegal to sell under any applicable law, that may infringe or violate anyone's rights, or that, GBGuide.com believes, in its sole discretion, is offensive.
• You must agree with and accept the Terms & Conditions of service.

Please note that the above listed are the minimum site criteria only, and GBGuide.com editors use additional factors in deciding whether of not to accept your site for inclusion.
